Athena Protection Foundation

Project C.A.R.E.

Community Awareness, Resources & Elder Protection

Knowledge. Awareness. Protection.
Because every senior deserves to live safely and with dignity.

Project C.A.R.E. is Athena Protection Foundation’s initiative dedicated to helping older adults recognize, prevent, and respond to abuse, exploitation, and fraud.
Information is protection. Awareness is power. You are not alone.

What is Project C.A.R.E.?

Project C.A.R.E. (Community Awareness, Resources & Elder Protection) equips older adults and their caregivers with the tools, education, and resources to stay safe from the most common threats they face.

Through workshops, community outreach, and trusted partnerships, we provide practical guidance on how to recognize warning signs, protect personal information, make informed decisions, and know where to turn for help.

Our goal is to help seniors live with dignity, confidence, respect, and safety—free from fear of exploitation or abuse.

Stronger Together

Athena Protection Foundation is developing collaborative relationships with trusted consumer-protection organizations, including the Better Business Bureau, to expand Project C.A.R.E. workshops and resources.

Once accredited, we will proudly partner with the Better Business Bureau to bring even more education, tools, and protection to our community.
