Athena Protection Foundation

About Athena Protection Foundation

We exist so no survivor, no family, and no first responder walks through the hardest moments alone.
Hope. Healing. Community. Strength.

OUR MISSION

Mitigate crime through education and ensure crime victims and their families can access every available resource in their time of need.

OUR VISION

A future where survivors, families, and first responders are supported through coordinated advocacy, education, healing resources, and community partnerships—empowered to heal, thrive, and strengthen our communities.

OUR STORY

Why We Exist

Athena Protection Foundation was founded in Detroit on the belief that one traumatic incident doesn’t just impact a single person—it ripples through families, first responders, and entire communities.

In the aftermath of crime, too many are left to navigate the system alone. APF was created to close that gap by providing advocacy, education, resources, and hope in a safe, compassionate space.

We bring people and partners together to reduce barriers, elevate voices, and create pathways to healing, stability, and renewed strength.

OUR APPROACH: COMPLETE THE CYCLE
